So, a very quick update to my last post about my son’s lofty DIY Halloween costume goals. I started gathering the supplies to make the Octonauts costume, and then it happened…my son changed his mind! And I thought, “Yes! Thank you!”
Suddenly, he wanted to be a sea turtle. I waited about a week to make sure he was still set on a sea turtle, he was. So, then it was all up to Amazon…and the costume was complete with a few clicks.
Since, we were hit with a Category 2-3 Hurricane, I was glad to not have to make a costume on top of everything else. Needless to say, things have been a bit nutty, hence the mini-break from posting.
But, I thought…you know, sometimes it’s definitely a good thing when kids decide to change their minds. It certainly was in this case.
And he makes a super cute sea turtle, if I do say so myself.
