Three Fun Learning Toys for Preschoolers!

Okay, so just a quick shout out to the parents out there that are running out of things to do with your kids! Don’t get me wrong, I love all of the fun activities, and art projects, and the imaginative play ideas that pop up (in fact, if you’re getting stir crazy, check out these ways to go somewhere when you have to stay home), but I also like to find some good games and toys every now and then as well.

I just purchased these items to do with my son because they looked fun and educational, so we gave them a whirl! They were all big hits! My husband and I even played Zingo! by ourselves, lol. Hey, we’ve been quarantined for over a month, we’re running out of things to do too! 😉

If you want to check them out, here ya go!

ZINGO!

It’s like speed bingo with matching, coordination, and critical thinking! It’s recommended for ages 4 and up, but my three-year-old handled it well and really enjoyed playing it. This is Amazon’s exclusive version and is super easy to learn with minimal components. Great for boys and girls!

MONKEY BALANCE

This was a much bigger hit than I expected it to be, plus you can teach a number of different concepts and skills with it. You can work on counting, adding, subtracting, balance, heavy and light, weight, more and less, and so on. It comes with a set of scales, monkeys, weighted numbers, and a series of cards that can be used to play several games.

LEARNING RESOURCES 1-2-3 BUILD IT!

My son had a blast with this! It’s designed so you can build a rocket, helicopter, or train. There is also another version that can become a car, boat, or plane, and another model that can be a bulldozer, digger, or dump truck. He not only built the specific items, but he enjoyed making his own creations. I think I am going to get the other sets to see what he comes up with when they are all together. This is great for boosting critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as incorporating STEAM activities into play.

Again, we have just really enjoyed these, and I felt my son got a lot out of them, so wanted to share! Nowadays, anything that helps reduce stress is welcome! When all else fails, don’t forget that you always have imagination — this is how our closet became an elevator…

Wishing everyone the best and hope you continue to spend each day in a way that works the best for you and your family!
